Another Engine! Ardor 3D
So i found this other Java Game eninge called Ardor 3D.
It’s pretty much based on JMonkeyEngine but rewritten for better structure. Or something along that line!

Torque
Just found a rather interesting and cheap Game engine called the Torque engine. It’s rather popular around indie developers and it looks like a very nice engine indeed.

I think i've found my engine
Hey this is a quickie-ish followup to my last post.
I said that i wasn’t sure that java was good enough but it looks like it is. And i’ll be able to use opengl.
The engine i found that seems to be the best java based engine available is called JMonkeyEngine which you can find and read about here:
